“I like the Lanceli, can it get narrower?” The Super Lanceli is an additive modifier that just slides on the front of your existing Lanceli and makes the Luxli Fiddle a spiked beam of light.. The narrower beam and reduced light level make this a perfect use for a technique called Low-Level Landscape Lighting, where a low intensity fixture is left on durig a long exposure to better match the limited available star or moonlight.
1 - Reduces the light beam even further from 35 degrees down to 24 degrees and limits spill light.
2 - Fully hides the light source by overlapping the outside of the Lanceli.
3 - Decreases the intensity from the original output by another stop, dpwm tp about 38% from the original output.
The Super Lanceli simply slides on to the front of the Lanceli, attaching via twelve posts that slide into the Lanceli and aligns all the hexcells. An overlapping edge then eliminates any seam of light between the two. The Super then either remains attached to the Lanceli, which removes by simply pulling the magnets away from the Fiddle, or the Super can be removed at any time if you want to just use the Lanceli. The design has been created in collaboration with some of the world’s leadig night photographers who were seeking an even narrower variation with reduced intensity for the Luxli Fiddle. This is for the night photographer who believes that the Luxli’s dimming of 0.1 is still too bright at times.
Available either as a standalone unit or paired with the Lanceli with a 25% discount, the Super Lanceli measures 1.-1/8” tall, 2-5/8” wide, and 5-1/2” long, Fiddle fixture not included. Use of Luxli and Fiddle terms do not associate this product or website with Gradus Group.
