Currently a lighting designer in New York City, Jeff has lived all over the Eastern seaboard and worked an incredible variety of jobs through the years. Some spaces he has worked at include the Pittsburgh Playhouse, the Pittsburgh Public Theatre, the City Theatre, the Chicago Theatre, the Auditorium Theatre, the Goodman Theatre and the Steppenwolf Theatre. Jobs have ranged from building wooden canoes in Canada, sweeping up after Riverdance, loading in the Rolling Stones and running away with the circus to work in their sound department (less lifting than running a spotlight).

Since moving to New York to attend New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts to work on his MFA in design, Jeff has had the immense pleasure to work with some of the world’s finest lighting professionals. In addition to NYU's renowned faculty, he has worked with Imero Fiorentino for the past few years in both television and industrials. Recently he had the pleasure to work for Johnson Schwinghammer as an architectural designer, where he worked on several projects, including Polo, Barney's New York and several residences. He then spent two years in telelvision working with the Lighting Design Group at CNN where he worked with Anderson Cooper, Paula Zahn and Larry King. These days Jeff is back in architectural lighting with Fisher Marantz Stone, where he spends his days designing lighting for various buildings, ships, apartments and public spaces. He loves it.

In addition to working in lighting, Jeff enjoys photography, soccer, scuba diving, reading science fiction (Kim Stanley Robinson, Neal Stephenson, Orson Scott Card) and talking about himself in the third person.

12-27-04 - Returned from a family trip to Germany for the holidays. An eight hour flight means lots of work got done on the page. But of course, not enough. But I'm happier with things, let's hope the masses are as well.

7-28-05 - New photos from a recent trip have been uploaded (have a look) and some tweaking has been done.

12-24-05 - Every year I put out a book of photography for some family, this year I made it into an Adobe Acrobat file and uploaded it for everyone. Enjoy the holidays!

6-7-06 - Busy, busy, busy. New job, new apartment and some very big news on another front. Hope everyone else is enjoying the run up to the World Cup.
